INTRODUCING the next addition to Glasgow artist Joe Edoni’s UK in art series, the vibrant city of York!

This historic and beautiful city is located in the North region of England and is one of England's oldest settlements. Featuring magnificent architecture from numerous periods such as the Roman, Victorian and Tudor, to name a few!

Pick from:

The Shambles - This Street is arguably the most famous shopping Street in the city of York, it dates back to the medieval times and is one of the best pristinely kept Medieval streets in the whole of Europe! The famous Street also features in one of the greatest film series created Harry Potter.

Sir Herbert House - Next up is the famous Sir Herbert House! Located in the heart of the bustling city, this building has stood since the 16th century and is a prime example of Tudor influenced architecture in the UK. Currently It is now serving as the premises for "York Gin", where you can purchase some of the best gin in the world!

York Cathedral - The final addition (for now) Is the Cathedral, the main focal point in this mesmerising city. The artist recreates this magnificent building from the old medieval wall viewpoint, which still runs through the city. From here the Cathedral is seen touring above the city like a beacon!
